What trannys would fit an 07? I've already decided no 6MT swap (too $$$) Or PPG gears, I'm just going to replace the whole unit. I need this back on the road asap, im getting out of the military in about 3 weeks and have to drive from Texas to Oregon soon. Any help would be much obliged.

2006-07 if you want to reuse your existing rear diff. I highly suggest you go this route and ignore all else. **A good used 2006-07 trans should bring around $800-$1000 but if you are in a hurry you might not have the luxury of shopping around and might pay more. Good luck
![]() . . wait for it ![]() . . Now go read some existing threads that cover the differences between model years so you do not make a mistake (damaged center diff) or waste money on un-needed components. Or you can always have a competent shop source you a trans and install it for you. Last edited by JarHarms; 10-05-2012 at 04:27 PM. |

Yea I looked in the tranny section and the conversion section. Couldn't find anything, granted didn't look toooooo hard. And my car club is sponsored by one shop... That does hondas only, so i dont trust them and another shop AWDtuning has an 06 for 1500$. I'm just looking around asking questions. Thank you though!

are you on a stock tune? i am curious as to how you lost 3rd synchro. maybe just bad luck? if you are making some decent power you might not want to eliminate a 6spd swap. if power is the cause of your transmission failure then you may end up in the same situation later with another 5spd. there are many 6spd options, some simpler than others, that i am sure would be better than repeating the same issue over. if you can drive it without 3rd, i would suggest getting it to oregon and looking into a 6spd (even though you have voted that out it is a good way to fix this problem).
