v4 wrx vs v4 wrx ra: quick ID?

Hey guys you know K's aren't my cup o tea, I'm wondering if I could get a quick tip for getting a solid ID.
The optimist in me says I sure hope RA, since Id like to rev to the moon and shear a rod bolt

Silver manifold
VF22
1998
no trans to go off, the timing cover tag is worn beyond ID

Also, what is the safe redline for a wrx and an ra? Hopefully more than WRX HLA G heads

i always thought Sti and R/RA had the redtop intake manifold, i may be mistaken though

only the sti had a red manifold (for v3/4 at least).
OP, if you have an engine code (check the timing belt covers) or a transmission code, VIN plate, anything like that

its a shim over wrx

WRX and WRX RA had the same engine (shim over bucket) 7500 rpm redline.
WRX STI and WRX STI RA also had the same engine (shim under bucket) 8200 rpm redline.

Both redlines are optimistic with stock rods though.
