Unhappy Auto-dimming mirror issue

Greetings,
feels like a weird issue so I thought I would share my concerns. I bought the mirror from subarugenuineparts.com

Just bought and received my auto-dimming mirror for my 2011 WRX. Very easy install, same as the one I did on my 09 Legacy. The mirror doesn't power up.

I tried on my Legacy, with the Legacy's wiring and it works. Tried with its own wire that came with the box and it works too.

Now I'm a little bit puzzled - how can I resolve this? I really think the dealer will charge me for that since it looks like its the car's connector that's messed up.

Anyone have a suggestion before I book an appointment with them? I really don't know what else I could check.

Ugh troubleshooting 101.

Heated seat did not work anymore so I thought I'd check the fuses... Fuse 6 was blown. All resolved.
