"Power" through it! I'm more concerned about not clearing poorly-maintained parking lots and driveways.

I have the luxury of 4 cars, three of which are Subaru's so I don't really have to worry too much when the snow fly's. I can just jump in my Fozzy and off I go. If I get a BRZ it would be replacing my Legacy Spec B.

Hey, if my Veloster can do it

How is managing a black car in your environment? Seems like it'd be a pain

Hey! I'm pretty sure the BRZ has less ground clearance than a Veloster! I'll check on it.

Edit: Ground Clearance

5.6" Veloster
4.9" BRZ

I think about it like this: If other people can have expensive habits like smoking, eating out for dinner every night, etc. etc. etc., then I don't mind washing my car at least twice a week, sometimes three times if I'm not terribly busy or a special event comes up. Silver is a better color to deal with, but black turns heads. Always.

@ RALLY: That Spec B is nice vehicle. I almost picked one up a few years ago. At this point, if you can't get rid of AWD and power, but want something new, I'd wait for the unveiling of the next WRX/STI. Should be shown by this summer, according to rumors.

It CAN move out of its own way. You'll just miss stomping most cars on the road. BUT, even as you're getting stomped, people just admire the ride. If you don't drive like you have something to prove, people will assume that the car is faster than it is and they'll love the mysteriousness of it. "Is it FAST?! How FAST?!" Get a corner, and they are YOURS!

If you want something that's mechanically simple, handles predictably and gets better gas mileage, the BRZ (or FR-S) is the way to go. They're almost like little kit cars at this point, which is what makes them so fun to mod. You're not having to really worry about MOAR POWAH, just work on better suspension and handling characteristics, or aesthetics.
I have nothing to say but this is put excellently.

Element Automotive installed the following items last night:

- MB Quart PVL 216 components in the front doors

- AutomationLED white LED turn signals with resistors for front and rear turn signals

- OEM auto-dimming mirror with red-lettering compass. So sick how it matches the interior.

- Motive Autowerks brake master cylinder brace

- Phastek red footwell illumination

I got in my customer armrest from Sutty in Australia, so I put that in, too. The interior looks so good!

Last week my GT-86 door cover and knee pads came in. I decided to order the speaker covers for the door panel cover since the stock one is integrated into the plastic cover for USDM FT-86. It should be here next week, hopefully.

Also next week my yospeed order comes in. The billet aluminum center console plaque and door sill cover, both black-painted and etched with "BRZ". Should be awesome!

Soon I'll get my GT-86 red door handle, red leather door jam trim and rear passenger seat go-between leather with red-stitching cover. The interior will be SO fetch!

Soon. Been kinda hectic in my life. Maybe tomorrow? Honestly it would just be a compilation of everything you can already find online. I'll do what I can, though!

Ohmygod. Get the OEM Audio+ kit. I just heard one in a local's FR-S...it was insane compared to stock.

I plan on stopping by San Diego on my way to Chandler and visiting the OEM Audio+ guys (Daniel, more accurately) and maybe even Tom. While in Washington I'd like to visit Nameless Performance, too. Thanks for that feedback, OE! I have high regards for your personal opinions.

Now pics of rice!

GT-86 knee pads

Phastek red footwell illumination

White LED turn signals

I finally discovered anti-shaking on my SGIII for taking pics, so pictures should be better from here on out. For the LED pics, they were earlier in the day. By the time I got to the interior shots I had learned the new feature. It's a PITA taking pics of BLINKERS!

That's your problem!

I don't "do" car audio, but I can tell you the OEM Audio+ setup is a night and day difference from the stock setup.

You killed a "Bro Moment", bro. No compassion, as identified in RSD's thread.

Lol, I see they lowered the price on that shifter. I recall it being close to $300 when it came out.

I'm aiming for May 13th, which is a Monday. Once I get my passport it'll be official that I'm driving down. I've been checking on the status every week.

I contacted Daniel LeBlanc with OEM Audio+ and I was thinking of seeing Tom kartboy, too. If I actually do come down, want me to hit you up since it seems like you have nothing better to do for the moment anyways? haha

Interested in how different places are doing their shifters. The BPS and TWM shifters look relatively similar, while Kartboy's uses less material under the reverse lockout. Wonder how that affects stuff/what the reason is.

Nice, OE! The yospeeds were a super impulsive buy. I do prefer the SRP.
