Yeah...the setup I heard in a local FR-S sounded awesome. But $1000+ and 45lbs doesn't sound great. Granted it's opposite the driver and in the trunk (best place to add weight) so it's not THAT bad...

man i wish i could have convinced my wife to let me get one of these instead of the SV Crosstrek we got. Dont get me wrong, i love our XV, but the BRZ is so sleek looking. She got me with the "we need more than 2 doors if we're going to start a family" arguement.

I still turn my head when I see the Crosstrek. I was at the dealership during lunch today and parked in front of a new black one... it had the spoiler option, too... I was lusting. I'm really hoping for some kind of performance model and stubborn wife so I can get into one of those.

I have a Silica Black with a spoiler! I do love how sporty the XV looks, but like you i wish the engine matched the look.

Yeah, I could use a break from Black Ops II! And if you're down for a fun drive, Palomar Mountain is great, and nearby. Depending on ticket prices, there's a chance I'll be out of town when you're here, but I think we're shooting for later in the month.

Eh. Needs more silver.

EDIT: Thinking and looking at it some more, it needs more texture.

we just got a desert khaki XV and i love it. while i love the BRZ the XV is the ultimate DD in my eyes. it is not expensive yet it has heated seats leather, back up camera etc etc. its great.

all i did was replace everyhting with LED's, pop HID's in the front, rebadge and then gave it to my mom she be getting subie waves. she called me the other day because some kid in an sti honked and waved at her and she didn't know what to do so she called and asked

not feeling those stills, but if you like it i love it!

You jelly.

It's hilarious that I have $5000 in parts...that I don't have in my possession. The wheels will be done by next weekend though.

Edit: Oh, grats the passport mang! Just get the SRP sills, they come in a variety of colors for your liking. If your liking is machined or black. Also, the OEM Audio+ setup shipping weight is 31lbs.

Should I bother with a license plate relocation kit to prevent being harassed while I'm down in the states?

OE, you baller. Do you have a build thread yet?

The only time you'll be harassed is crossing into Alaska on your way back.

Well how hard is it to inventory your parts, really?

Kyle reminded me that I should just keep it up on my window. No LP holes, no care.

I know. I know. High standards are high. Unfortunately with some of my friends that's almost the only way to stay in touch, so I just gave in.

5 weeks before I head south! Anxious as eff! I'm so done with this snow. Roads were dry and everything, now we're looking at a foot and a half with no let up for a few days.

Of ALL days it would snow in the Mid-A, it snowed today. Legit snow too, 2 inches on the ground by 9AM (legit for where I live ). Fortunately the temperature was right on the threshold of freezing so it didn't stick and getting to IAG was no issue.

I would kill for just two inches of: A) snow and 2) suspension drop.
