What did you go to IAG for ?

Back in 2009, this was the most beautiful thing I saw in Canada when driving through with the Forester:

The second most beautiful thing I saw during the whole trip in the Lower 48 was lower gas prices:

I can not wait to experience these two gorgeous things once more in May.

Premium hasn't been under $4/gal for a year now, though occasionally dipping into $3.9 territory.

You're so dramatic. Even up here our Premium was below $4/gal just a couple of months ago. Unless you didn't meant that generically, but specifically to your area?

I accidentally a word.

I meant specifically to where I live. I'll never deny that I'm a drama queen.

Yes Yes! Is it the camera or does that spoiler make your car look flatter?

It's the spoiler. Aside from the slightly stuck-on look of it, there's an appearance that it's a natural extension of the trunk lid.

Nice. I might have to rock that someday, after I tire of my STI gurney flap. Thanks for the pics! So wish you had a build thread.

I can only get 90 and it's about $4.20 right now, so I'd gladly trade!

For the last week that I'm in Alaska, I scheduled the following:

CCA Motorsports
-Clay bar, buff, wax, touch-up paint and clear bra re-done since Alaska beat it up pretty bad this winter, but hood and maybe front bumper only. Side mirrors and fenders are fine.

Element Automotive
- Turn In Concept steering rack bushings
- kartboy rear shifter bushing
- Extra S transmission and differential fluid change
- Mobil 1 oil change
- Tire swap, alignment and tire pressure check

In the next week I should have my stuff from Nigel-JDMParts...

- GT-86 red door handles
- GT-86 red leather door strip
- GT-86 rear passenger leather seat cover

The interior is getting closer to being complete. The yospeed door sills are growing on me a little.

I'm thinking of going with the Nameless Performance exhaust set up. The shop I was going to have fab these fatty exhaust tips is pretty busy and will be for a while. Besides, I love NP's products! They're just clean. Also, I figure if I jump on it now then I can enjoy the header upgrade later.

Once I get the Tommy Kaira tail lights that'll come out this summer and my STI parts, plus wheels and Mach V lowering springs, I'll be fairly content. Those are the main parts I want by summer's end.

Somewhere in there is supposed to be auto-x, but I haven't seen a schedule anywhere. I still haven't read up on any of the rules either...

Hopefully I'll have my own Nikon D5000 by this Friday. I really want a camera I can grow into using for a while and make my hobby, maybe even my passion. I just gotta take time to mess with settings and such. I need to educate myself on photography lingo, too, but I'm not going to worry about that until the camera is IN my hands and my photos are getting critiqued. I think I'm least excited about having to doctor up photos to get the best results. I never have time! I don't want to spend it editing photos. The more I do it the better I'll get, though, and quicker, so I guess I should just see it as a long-term investment.

Trade my BRZ wheels for 2010 WRX wheels? Yaye or nay? I think we're going to do a temporary swap just to see how we like it. +55 on those wheels, though... I think they're wider, 7.5 maybe, so that might help it look less sunk maybe?

They'll move 7mm inboard and .5" (12.700mm) outboard, for a net movement of 5.7mm outboard. Will probably look just as sunk.

Nerd. It'll be an easy swap and most likely just temporary, so I'll just go ahead and do it. The only reason I care about the stock wheels is to have them whenever I decide to sell the car.

Presets. I can edit most of my photos in secinds because I have presets saved that will adjust the photos with one click. Makes life super easy and thenvif anything takes second to touch up.

True, eventually that'll be good, but initially I'll be spending a LOT of time learning the camera. Won't know 'bout no presets for a while. *le sigh*
