Thanks. I know there's 94 closer to the states when you head south. Didn't know about Whitehorse. Conti makes a habit of carrying Torco right?

Are you talking about the plate on the Imprezas or 86? I was going to get the short nipple (teehee) but I have no issue using the standard one if there are clearance issues.

I'm thinking about doing the 2011 Outback foglight housing conversion. OE whatchu think? I saw you posting in the thread over at that other place last year. You ever follow through with it? Crazy that our fog lights housings are the same size as the Outback's. I'm not crazy about glass, but I think I'll overlay them to help protect them. I just want more intense output, either 35W HID kit to match the rest of the car or just H11 bulbs that are high output yellow.

86. We use the same valve, but the valve nipple just barely pokes out from the OEM skid plate.

I never followed through since I'm lazy. Buying a harness or making one is your best bet IMO, since I don't like cutting stock wiring unless I HAVE to. For me...it's not so much about the fogs being any more useful, I just don't want them be halogen yellow like they are now. You can just put some clear Lamin-X on top the lens to protect it from chips and stuff.

Yeah I was planning on putting on Lamin-X if I got the glass ones. I want HID yellows because it's a more effective spectrum. And I actually can see the BRZ fog lights on the road and sides, unlike my WRX ones. Plus I feel fog lights are more about people being able to see YOU. Glass housing ones crack easily, which is the only thing I don't like. That's why I was just going to do a high output yellow bulb replacement for the stock plastic housing. In Alaska rocks beat your bumper to high heaven, but my fog lights STILL look good. My WRX fogs cracked within the first few months of ownership and I've seen many other Subarus with the same issue. Even Kyletakahero's STI fog lights are already cracked and that was maybe a month after he got it.

The conversion seems cheap enough and the effort seems minimal, so we'll see. I'd rather work on suspension, like engine and transmission mounts, bushings, etc. Also need new wheels and Mach V springs asap... So many dinero!

RCE is already prototyping new springs...higher rates I think, because they were specifically asking for Koni users.

URONG

The EJ uses a F105 valve and the FA uses F108 (20mm vs. 16mm). SO THERE!

Thanks for the offer of yours, but it'd bug me as much as it bugs you. I'll get the nipple-less one.

As far as prototyping, I just saw Myles asking for a tester on Facebook.

Blah. I leave tomorrow afternoon. I'm both ready and not. Hard to be prepared when I've been holed up for three years. Also I'm trying not to expect too much out of this trip. Just wanna have fun!

I think it's awesome that the color code for Crystal Black Silica is D4S.

I got two bottles of "Torco". One for heading down, one for when I come back. Hopefully they don't give me crap at the border for having them.

I got three $100 bills Canadian since apparently there's an international transaction fee every time you swipe your card at a pump. KeyBank has a set currency exchange, too, so it's much, much cheaper for me to convert my money back to American with them as a customer opposed to me dropping into some small bank that'll make more overhead on my exchange.

Found out I'll be staying in Pebble Beach when I go down to Monterey next week and they already have a guest pass reserved for me for the aquarium. I heart rich people! hahaha

Hey, I sent you a PM since I'll be coming down to San Diego. Check yo box!

I want to hangout in SF for part of a day. I get to Ukiah next Wednesday. I want to just say hi to the fam, then maybe continue on to Monterey. What I might do is since I have to pass through SF on my way back to Ukiah from Monterey is chill in SF on Friday. I want to visit the Amoeba music store again since it's been 7 years since I last visited. Otherwise SF isn't one of those places where I want to just cruise around.

I got yo PM, foo! I just take my time with replies...

Ameoba is good, you might also look into Rasputin. They seem to always be next to a Blondie's Pizza and that place is AWESOME. Gigantic pizza slices.

There's one in SF on Powell just down the bock from the BArt station.

I love hills! Just not dense traffic sometimes. I dunno, SF especially bugs me compared to Phoenix or New York or Seattle or even Dallas. Can't quite figure out why...

Fine fine! Thanks for the reply. Also that place looks legit!

We'll see about gigantic pizza slices. My food portions have decreased dramatically since I've been sick the past 2 and 1/2 weeks. Lost damn near 10 pounds on top of the almost 20 I lost before from dieting and the gym. I might have to split a pizza slice! hahaha I'll probably get one anyways just for a photo op.

Concerning how roads are laid out, Seattle is the worst in my experience so far.

So remember how I said I wanted to see some paint matched lips? Maybe that was in OE's thread or Jive's...but who cares, I'm posting this here.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=196

Here's an example of the HTAuto kit (blegh) in SWP. Either the paint isn't matched well or it just looks goofy. Or maybe I'm just really sick of that pointy lip. Every time I see a top-down view of that thing, I think of Batman's mask.

It's not paint matched well because it's SWP, IMO. I think it looks like crap.
