^ I completely understand chanomatiks reason for keeping the sticker on.

I also didn't want that option but unfortunately my car came with that add on. The dealer wouldn't remove it from my price, so for now, that stupid 100 dollar sticker will at least stay on and protect the paint for a while.

Thinking about painting my stockers gold. Would look sick with black. Any input?

Hey I found your thread!
That gold does look good you should do it, I still can't get enough of the WRX wheels though. Also, LOVE the sticker.

I need help finding a good exhaust tip. I specifically am looking for: 5" outlet, slanted, double-wall (preferably), rolled edges and single (that I would purchase twice). I don't necessarily care about price.

Examples of what my results have procured:

Ultimately I would love to have something more along the lines of the STI sports muffler or Nameless Performance ends (or even Perrin, really). How would you describe the design of these? Perrin just says their's is "slash cut double-wall".

I like this guy's HKS Legamax Premium exhaust for how it fills everything out:

That doesn't look bigger, it just has mufflers and is protruding out. But apparently I have too many opinions and am completely predictable...

That's what I mean by size, though. I don't want them to stick out too far, but with the Invidia it appears it has to, which is another reason why they're angled. Apparently the wheels do not allow for them to be angled straight back because the mufflers get in the way? Why not make the mufflers smaller? Or no mufflers at all? I don't get it. In the end, I just want something that fills out the opening.

I don't mind your comments. I'm not from Fairbanks, so I welcome opposition. haha

Well in the spirit of being predictable you know I say just get the Nameless and call it good. Smaller mufflers, flush tips, I assume the sound is good. Are there any pictures of the Perrin installed?

Thread for Perrin Headback System
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...t=19503&page=3

For the full Nameless Performance exhaust it's about $1200. I kind of want to Frankenstein it, though, by getting the Invidia downpipe and Nameless axleback...

Having driven a BRZ sans mufflers I can say I like it. I'm sure you could get a local shop to fab you up a one off piece fairly cheap.

Thanks. The guys at our local shop of retraC Engineering are already offering to fab up something, which is why I'm really just looking for tips to make it easier. I'm not sure if these guys can do double-wall rolled-edge slanted tips since that all seems to be a bit of hardcore machining, but I know they're good with pipes and welding.

I liked them when they first came out, but now they just look like puckered lips.

Looks like STI made a nicer finish for the reverse ring. Good move, STI. Good move.
