Are you using Impreza or Forester Trailing arm mounts?

Thanks,
Jason

My setup:
STi T-bar
STi subframe
R180 rear
SuberDave hybrid axles
Forester spindles
Whiteline lateral links
coilovers

Near as I can tell, a very very similar setup to yours.

Did you have to pry the spindle/upright forward to get the trailing arm to line up?

Thanks,
Jason

We used a FULL STi rearend. Arms, hubs, axles, mounts, subframe, diff, etc. Basically if you pulled the body off an STi and set a Forester on top of what was left, that is what this car is. This is by far the easiest way to swap one of these as it gets rid of a bunch of the little issues like it looks like you've run into.

Did you try STi/Impreza trailing arms with the STi front trailing arm mounts? Are you sure that the adjustable lateral links you used aren't forcing the hubs out of place? Do they look centered int he wheel well? Then again 3/4" is hard to see.

The most we had to do was lift the knuckle up on a jack to compress the strut a bit to line up the holes an slide the bolt through. But that's been the method I've used on every rear I've taken apart.

Since me and Ken starting working on starting a Powder coating business, we have kinda put our cars on hold and work on that. Today i decided to coat my manifold, valves covers and coolant crossover pipe (so i can start putting my motor together and get it in the car)

Here is a few pics of them, will get some more
