So a stranger in uniform saw our duffle bags & stopped to check. PFC Morales is the *****ing man! He had an extra jack in his trunk and gave it to me, free of charge! The Army teaches 7 values & that my friends was "Selfless Service." Currently the vehicle is at Firestone getting 2 new tires & an alignment....

THANK YOU PFC MORALES

$412 for four primewell pz900 tires and an alignment. Firestone called subaru and it was recommended i change all 4 to prevent damage to the transmission. Make sense?

AWD isn't very tolerant of differences in tire diameter from front to back (although two different tread depth front tires might be okay since it's an open front diff, I THINK); it toasts the center diff when there's a difference in wheel speed (due to different revs/mile from different heights/diameters).

Yes it does. I used to get quite a few tire shops calling me asking about it. Like it was said, AWD is not fond of the tires having a difference in circumference.
