Post Where do you get Lojack?

I am getting a WRX in a few days and with hearing one was already stolen in Canada makes me worry a bit. I have searched and found a few good posts. The main thing I want to protect it from is the "joyriders". As word gets out about how fast this car is it may be a big hit with them. And a standard alarm should work fine. But What would be the best to protect the car from being stolen by the professional guys who want to chop the car up?

The things I have heard of other than a typical alarm is Lojack, a satellite tracking system (for $30 a year) and some sort of pin lock. I think the pin lock is in the gearing so it would make the car unable to move unless you took it out. What's the pro's and con's with these systems?

I don't live in a high crime area, but I do drive into downtown Seattle a lot.

Technically, LoJack is not sattelite based... all the tracking equipment is based in the police cars... ever see one with the four little antennae on the back half of the roof, in a nice little square... you guessed it, lojack... as for where to get it, I've got no idea... http://www.lojack.com has a dealer locator though, and I saw a flier at my subaru dealer for it, so you might check there. good luck, but around here, by the time they track your car down with lojack all they find is the lojack box and a frame... nothing can beat a properly installed and multi-tiered security system, but at the same time lojack can't hurt...

Does anyone know anything about the "pin-lock" that Akiata mentioned. Any opinions on this type of lock?
