Newbie Question on WRX
Hey guys... i'm new to this site and i have big question to ask...
I'm planning to buy a WRX within this month or early November but I really don't know what WRX year to buy, 2012 or 2013? Is there any difference between the two WRX year? I'm really a newbie on WRX/STI, in fact this will be the first WRX I'll be having since I first saw it. When i first saw this awesome car on a tv car show back in 2005 my heart start pumping really fast, until now everytime I see one on the road my heart still do the same + goosebumps. Now, I'll have a pleasure in owning one, and that's why I came here for expert opinion and tips from the pro and newbie that already have this awesome car. I really want this to be one of my memorable moment. Tanks in advance

Welcome! The only difference I see with the 2012 and 2013 is that they removed Red from the color choices.
Read Unibomber's Manifesto for info on how these cars work / advice. |

'11, '12, and '13 WRX are all the same, there could be a new WRX/STi in '14 or '15.
Just look to see which you can get a better deal on (if financing sometimes the newer one is cheaper). If you are planning on replacing it in the next 3-5yrs the newer year could up the resale. |

Go with the 2011 . Awesome first year of wide body . Low number of production since the tsunami . Great kbb value . I got an 11' but 12s and 13's still look better in my opinion then these new leaked photos of the wrx ! Get a 11-13' model ***128516;

Are you set on getting the sedan? I thought long and hard and ended up going with the 2012 hatchback and I love it! same weight as sedan and performance with tons storage room. I know they are introducing a new hatchback look for the 2013 model.
