OMGHi2U Moved to MA (Boston'ish Area)

Hey guys, I just recently moved from New York to Rockland and will probably be moving towards the Framingham area next year. I've noticed a few wrx's around but not many. I currently drive a 2002 Impreza RS with an amateur window tint and a full exhaust.
Anyone know of a cheap place to get tires from?

I still have the NY plates on so if you see me feel to wave =)

And around these parts, the response to any question can always be "Yankees suck".

Do you want fries with that? A: Yankees suck
How do I get from Storrow Drive to south station? A: Yankees suck

See...

Welcome to crapachusetts! If you're looking to play some paintball this spring shoot me a PM. I'm slowly working my way back into the sport. Hoping to play pretty regularly after this winter.

I'd be in for some paintball meets. I stopped playing after I went to college. Fox 4 in MA is an awesome place to play.

Edit: I usually go with Town Fair Tire. They have a pretty good road hazard warranty and are pretty quick at fixing a tire when you drop it off. I've yet to buy a set of tires from them for an AWD car, but I hear they will replace all 4 tires if you blow one out for a decent price (with the warranty).

found a cheap set on tire rack but not sure how good they are or rather how bad they are. Because I just moved and switched to a new job money is tight. Here is one

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....n&autoModClar=

and I dont think ill be getting back into paintball anytime soon. I played in high school and traveled a lot. I played in the AXBL and MXL for a season and did some other tournys but it's too expensive.

You should check out the Boston area Wednesday meets. They're Meeting tonight at fudruckers in reading, I couldn't make it tonight cause my gf had a tooth pulled and needed me to take care of her... insert P-whipped joke here They alternate between both, west and south of the city. The south meet is pretty close to our way and the others are with in an hr. Its free other than the cost of diner and a great place to talk about your car.
You should also check out Simmons Motorsports. They're in S.Easton and have a ton of used parts for subbies. They also can get a pretty good discount on new parts! I'm heading down on Saturday to get my Timing belt kit installed. You should check it out.

Welcome to Ma. I live in Hanover and you might see my bugeye wagon around midday.
I suggest making your way to Planet Subaru in Hanover and introducing yourself to the guys in the parts dept, specifically Max (ie remotehuman on here). You'll most likely end up they anyway for something to keep your car running.
See u round.

I dont do as much as I use to as far as going out to car meets. It wouldnt be fair to my wife but I still manage here and there. I'l wait for a more southern meet to meet some of the people around here. Thanks for the suggestion on a place for parts.

Yea I will probably have to stop by, the last local forum I was on I met my mechanic who works at a dealer and he hooked me up with a full re seal (head gaskets, timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, intake many, exhaust many, valve cover gaskets, thermostat, oil change, timing belt tensioner, idler pullys and a clean up of all carbon build up) plus he did all the labor in one day for 1k. I dont think ill find as much help as him but im sure the guys over there will be nice =)...Oh and he got me my Borlas for 100

As soon as we get some fluffy white stuff I'm going to be setting up a meet at Wachusett. Keep an eye out for it.

I have done local places, as well as online. Personally, I like to buy online and have them mounted locally. This way I can get exactly the tire I want in the size I want.

tirerack and discounttiredirect are two of my faves
