Default Any parking tips for Cowboys Stadium?

I'm going to my first game event there and wanted to know if there are any smart tips for best place to park for in/out convenience? I'll also have an in-law that would have difficulty walking a very long distance. I'm not really concerned about the cost (but no valet ;-) ).

I'll be coming from Fort Worth.

Thanks

park 2 miles and take a cab. otherwise you will spend more $ and be stuck for hours.
I would consider parking somewhere off of cooper street exit in the shopping center just north of i-30.
take a cab there and back. way cheaper than the $40 parking and 2 hr wait to get out at night.

Hours? Its not that bad if you exit the south side and take 20. However, it can be frustrating if you let everyone go in front of you - you'll be there awhile. I dont think its a bad idea to park remotely then ride a shuttle cab, just becareful where you park.. make sure its legit and not someones front yard.

Also, if you park onsite, its a nice lil walk to matter where.. unless you use one of the helipads.

I know some of the places around there provide shuttles to the rangers game if you eat/drink there before. I have no idea if they do the same for cowboys games though.

We park at bed bath beyond parking lot. You spend $40 on stuff there and put receipt in window and you get to park there. Then the next day if you didn't need the items you return them at location near you and get your money back. ;-)

I had season tickets for several years. Tired of the hype they sell to the fans over and over so I didn't renew this year. I used to park near I-30 in that shopping strip there where Best Buy is at. If you spend $40 at any of those stores in that area and put the receipt in the window you can park there. I would just buy gift cards and use them at a later time or I would give them out for Christmas gifts as I don't really buy anything from Best Buy anymore. After the game it was a pretty quick exit to get back on the freeway.
