Looks good, have mine sitting in my room waiting for my wrx to arrive this Friday.

How long did it take you to complete the whole thing?

It took me 2 1/2 hours tops. And, I'm a rookie. I've never wrapped or tinted anything in my life.

Here is a YouTube clip of the finished product

Thank you. I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I think it came out pretty good. Very subtle.

May I ask how you wrapped the shark fin? Did you overlap for the fin?

Im serously thinking about doing it on my '15 wrx.... But im not sure if it would look too "ricey" on a white car.

Excellent! How hard is it to remove the sharkfin?

I think it looks great. The key is to stick with a gloss wrap, like you did. When people wrap their roof with a matte color, the contrast between the gloss paint and the flat roof just looks.... off.

Yours, on the other hand, looks great. If I had a silver car I'd do the same thing. Unfortunately, any color roof wrap on DGM just doesn't look right.

Oh, and for the lazy:

I did my DGM roof and you could barely tell it was vinyl wrapped in black gloss.....

Pm me pics please!!

I've been wanting to see that exact combo but have had such a hard time finding images of that exact combo. I'd love to wrap the roof to protect it from my snowboard rack/snowboards. But every image I've seen of a roof wrap on DGM has been a different color or matte.

I think it looks best on white, or light colored cars. Try it... you can always remove it.

I mainly had it done to protect my roof from the elements...

It definitely looks best on white, especially with window tint. Silver a close second. Red and blue third. IMHO of course.

My buddy, my girlfriend and myself just wrapped my roof last night in 5D gloss carbon.
I also wrapped my mirror caps, front and rear emblems, antenna, rear window spoiler, and a small strip along the trunk spoiler.
This product looks amazing! However, it is a pita to work with. I do not recommend this product until 3m or Avery comes out with a version of it.
Here are some pix

Here are a few pix of the roof. I also swapped out the gigantic shark fin for a Nissan 370-gtr-maxima antenna

At the end, do you heat it up then squeegee it or do you just have to heat it up?

That is exactly what I want to do to my '15 Silver WRX. I've been debating about the shark fin if I should wrap it or not.

Reviving this one from the dead. I measured the roof and got 57 inches for the length. Will I be cutting it too close ordering a 60x60 sheet?

Vinyl wrap is really stretchy, you should have no problem. You have no margin for mistakes tho!

Yes. It's too short. Get the next size up. Trust me!
