Default Surprised at how good...

been here watching the forums for a long while - lost my 2009 civic Si.
went out and grabbed a clean 2004 WRX wagon 177KM silver clean clean all service.

LOVE the car. All stock except down pipe, Opensource tune.

Went for 500km drive through the country and just for fun i hit the dirt roads. Amazing. Car puts a death grip on pavement. I think the engine is great.

if i had to be critical of anything - I was surprised of the steering radius. I thought it would be tighter....

I feel like I can take this thing through anythings, go anywhere with the right tires.

I had an air cooled 911 (1990) and no joke, this thing feels a Solid....very surprised.

Anyway - thought Id share.

cheers!

congrats on the wrx. if you think it handles now, get some suspension and good tires on your ride. it will be a whole different animal. i had a few hondas before my wrx. i dont think ill ever sell this car. im hooked. ive had it going on 5 years in january 2013.

Is the stock sport tuned suspension lacking that much? Although I found that my civic si had less boy roll - I find that this car feel how I thought a rally car would...higher cushier but able on any surface...

Main things people do suspension wise is bigger sway bars and stiffer bushings all around
