Default Daily Driver Choices.

guys i dont 1/4, autox, or anything crazy. im just putting together a fun daily driver that could possibly see a little autox next year.

im looking for a new transmission. i would like to get a 6speed and there is a local NON DCCD available:

TY856WB1CA 3.636 2.375 1.761 1.346 1.062 0.842 3.900 Viscous A.P. Suretrac

he is asking $4600 with brembos, axles, diff, etc.

would you suggest i get this, a jdm dccd or a usdm dccd?

A 6MT is a POOR choice for both a daily drive and as an autocross platform. You really need to consult with a PROFESSIONAL before you throw $5000 in the toilet. www.andrewtechautomotive.com is who you want to call. Tomorrow. Cereal.

I covered the 5mt vs 6mt in my thread "yay 5MT blew" I'm in the same boat.

I'm leaning towards a 07 sti swap with 5x114 because I can.
