It's like waiting for Christmas when you're 6 years old, nice to relive that emotion for a change.

Yup, apparently. Didn't know the new slushbox in the wrx's was a cvt. Didn't think any manufacturer made one strong enuf to withstand anything but econobox duty. Guess we'll see how they last. Ultimately, i'm not an auto guy, i prefer shifting.
I admit I've had little interest in this (and the last previous) generation of Imprezas. Looks haven't cut it for me, and they just keep getting heavier. So yeah, i haven't paid much attention.

Oh man lucky you. I walked into the dealership the other day just shopping. They had the 2015 STI Launch Edition on the floor. Man I almost drove home with that thing. Too bad it's just out of my price range. Congrats btw. Post some pics when it gets in!

I got four dealers to fight with one another and by the end it was 31427 from what started at close to 34000 with a lifetime warranty.

No plans to to do any major changes; probably just exhaust, wheels, tint, the little things. We'll see what kind of beating the CVT can take, I've heard/read good things so far.
