Default Perrin SRI

Hey guys I've been looking into different SRI for my 2011 wrx. In the research I've done with a cold air your running stage 2 Cobb you have to have it retuned? So I was wondering if that would be the case for SRI. Of all the intakes I've heard Perrin is the loud sound I like. Although I can't find any vendor that sell Perrin SRI, only cold air.

All intakes on 3G WRXs should be tuned for, cold air or otherwise. Contact Perrin directly as they are vendors on this site. I have however never heard of a Perrin SRI for the '08+, but then again I haven't looked either.

See the more I've read they say that SRI really doesn't change because its not actually taking in as much cold air because of where it's placed it takes heat off the motor so it's pretty much for looks and sounds. Being that I have stage 2 tune it should cover intake I assume? Also yea I've looked on sites for Perrin products and can only find cold air for 08+ SRI for 02-07. I'm kinda stuck

The off the shelf maps say EXACTLY what you should have on your car to use that tune.

It's not about the amount of cold air at all... it's the difference in MAF sensor readings based on the tubing diameter, pathing, etc. being different from stock. I believe the only intake that Cobb has an OTS map for is its SF intake.
