Default Ej207 serial number check question

]I just got a jdm ej207 from a guy. And i was just wondering how i can read the code to know for sure that it is one. I see the ej20 stamped on the block, is there another set of numbers i need to look for

Mine had a code on the timing belt cover, and the year underneath the oil cap

I will check those when i get home, but i am trying to see if there is a more concrete way to tell, as im sure someone could just put an oil cap and timing cover on any usdm 2.0
