Just got my AP today and a noob to subaru mods and did a couple short pulls in 3rd gear and would like some feedback on how it looks I am running the cobb ots Stage 1 93oct map on a 2012 STI should I use the HWG map looks like boost is not making the 18psi target and does everything else looks ok?

I think with a 6 speed you're generally supposed to log a pull in 4th

What were the ambient temps when doing these pulls?
Hot, humid air generally works against our subarus, especially the top mount. Looking breifly at your logs everything seems OK from what i understand. I dont notice any wild swings or fluctuations on any parameter and the boost seems relatively consistent. Please understand that off the shelf maps, while they do much good in regards to setting an industry standard for plug-and-play upgrades for our cars, do not cater 100% specific to your car. While the engine setups are all uniform and the testing is done very thoroughly by COBB, you may or may not live and drive that car in an environment different than where the research dyno was. Different local temps, humidity and elevations play crucial factors as to how the car reacts. This is easily overcome by a road or dynotune by your local proffesional. Just my two cents. -Mikey |

The last two the temp was around 63 with around 80% humidity. The first ones I posted it was in the low 70's with around the same humidity. Yeah I knew a protund would be the best for my car just wanted to make sure everything looked good and didn't know if the boost was low since the map said the target was 18 psi not sure if its lower since I did a 3 rd gear pull didn't have a safe area to do the 4 th gear pull so just did a 3rd

In my experiences and learnings, ive found that relative humidty plays a large role (on top mounts at least) on how effectively the turbo reachs and holds target boost.

all those runs are in sport sharp mode in 3rd gear should I be running a different map? I am using the newest stage 1 93 oct map
