Default wagon roof rail deletes.

Just removed my rails and noticed an ugly gap where the oe rails mount. I see a sedan trim is to short and dealer told me all wagons 02-07 are installed with rails. Which is hard to believe. Any one have any input or know a person that has a person. Thanks.
