Default IAM 0, low boost log inside

I'm scratching my head on this one and was hoping someone could look at my log and tell me where to start. The car is a 95 Impreza L with a JDM V8 engine and trans, JDM ECU. The car drives just fine but it won't get more than 7.8lbs of boost and the IAM will plummet to zero and I have no idea why as I'm not seeing any knock, or at least I don't think I am. I have a code for Rear 02 sensor low when I pull up learning view, no others.

The posted log is from a reset and I let the car idle for a few minutes before I went and made the log. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

idle log was useless... try again

What we need to see is WHEN the IAM starts to drop. then we can go from there.

That's in there, it's rather long log. The logs consists of a start up after reset, idle, then a drive to the store.

Guess not, rehosting log.

Edit: log rehosted and linked in first post. I guess something got lost on the conversion to Xcel the first time.

Stock V8 ROM. Stock down pipe, factory intake. Which is why I'm stumped. I can't see anything out of the way.

do you think next time you could atleast add your total timing?

A new log, I think that should have the parameters needed. Thanks for looking.

Running on a hunch here, try this rom. If it fixes your problem, we will discuss your issue.

Boost was unaffected and it's raining now so I can't pull up what the IAM is, but I'm guessing it's a zero. What was the change to the map out of curiosity?

you seem to have a direct mechanical or electrical fault with the car. find your test mode connectors, and make sure they arent shorting out at all.

can you pull and post your DTC codes. Please post everything.

aside from that, the only other thing I could think of, would be for you to log your misfire counts. you might have a faulty knock sensor and the ECM could drop IAM based off misfire count.

Have you always had this issue, since you installed the engine? I had the same issue with a 16bit STi, IAM plummeted to 0 at idle before rough correction was supposed to kick in! I came to the conclusion that the issue must've been electrical, possibly test connectors short, I couldn't solve it & ended up zeroing advanced timing, adding the values to base timing.

At time 32194 IAM 0's out without any feedback knock correction. the only reason for this would be electrical I would think. Perhaps there is a conflicting sensor input and the ECU is dropping IAM to 0 to activate failsafe mode---no boost control, failsafe open loop. Ususally you wold see the IAM decrement as the FBKC registered lots of negative correction--not just 0 out all of a sudden. That's the only thing I can think of @ this point--subscribing!! Good luck!
