Default Stage 2 csms

Just a quick question. Do stage 2 cams take longer to start when warm? For some reason my 02 wrx tuned for the cam take a little longer to start when warm is this normal?

It very much depends on the tune. I have tuned a LARGE cammed car so well you wouldn't have known it was cammed except the sound was orgasmic. Driveability and all other aspects (including cranking) were as good or better than stock and most had told me I couldn't do it... Until I did.

I see ill have a talk with my tuner. The car stars good when cold but takes it bit when warm? Kind odd.

Could be temp fueling corrections are good at cold but off at operating temp. Any of the cranking related tables too. Can't know for sure without scanning. I haven't looked into fueling enough on these cars.
