Default Finally in the 10's

Had a pretty good day at New England Dragway this past Saturday. Car went 10.78 @ 127. Here are two videos. Quality is not the best, but not too bad.

I'll get the time slip up in a few minutes when I figure out how to do it.

Stock heads, cams, ecu, full weight daily driver. New precision 6265 ceramic bearing turbo.Built and street tuned by myself. Its on Hoosier drag radials(unbelievable tires).

Drove it to the track (108 miles), ran the car, and drove it home. I have a stack of 11 second passes with this car from the last couple years, but this is the first time in the tens.

What turbo kit? Self fabricated? Nice!

What's in the shortblock? Assuming it isn't stock since you don't have that mentioned.

Thanks. Not just the turbo, here is a mod list

Stock shortblock (original one) with wiseco drop ins
Stock heads and cams
Slowboy rotated kit with a precision 6265 and a tial 44
Turbo xs front mount with a tial 50
DW 850s,paralleled stock fuel rails, walbro 255
perrin equal length header
Act 6 puck sprung extreme Pressure plate
Stock transmission with 07 gearset
Hoosier 245/45 -17 drag radials
Meth injection

This pass was on half 93 oct/half sunoco 116 + methanol. Wanted to be on straight 116 but showed up with too much gas and didn't want to drain it.

How do you like the 07 gear set? Did you damage the stock gear set or just upgrade to lose 1 shift in the 1/4?

Depends on the dyno. It hasn't been on one in years. I'll post up my road dyno sheet though

I like it alot better. The old one was fine. I did it just for the better gear ratios. 2nd,3rd and 4th are taller. And ya , I lost one shift for now.

What are you reving to? Was it just the taller tires and 07 gears that got you to ~128mph?

Tony Garcia in Swansea, Ma built it. All parts from the Subaru dealer. If I had to do it again, I'd buy the kit from Rallispec. It would have been cheaper. Rallispec is awesome. We ran into a little problem, and they told us how to deal with it. Highly recommended. Good people

The tires are taller(by like a half inch I think). Normally I run a 255/35-18 on the car but they suck at this track. I have the rev Limit at 7800, and its right there at the end of the track

It made 551 whp on the road dyno on the dynojet setting, but dyno #'s can be so different. Personally I feel that I've wasted too much money on dynos in the past. Probably shouldn't say that , but its my opinion

20 psi. That was the second launch on those tires. I think I can get the 60 ft a little better with some practice and maybe playing with tire pressure

I have been searching Hoosier d/r's and only come up with Hoosier A6 or R6? Are either of those the tires you have?
