You need to tell us what year wrx ecu.

You can run it on an older jdm wrx ecu if you swap intake manifolds and go to a single turbo

i want to do the same swap, i have a 04 wrx ecu and an 04 saabaru harness, and of course the ej20r i have all the parts needed for the single turbo swap and i was thinking of swaping out the manifold for a stock wrx manifold so that the sensors and injectos would match the engine harness and the coils already match. what are your opinions on that?

Fact: it won't work. Period. The 20R isn't compatible with any USDM WRX. The 206/8 is however...
