Default It's been a long time - Novak Racing's GC8

Howdy! it's been a few years since i have been on this site.
Now that i'm back here are some of the pictures of our GC8 we have been working on for about a year.
This use to be Mannslayers GC8! After a complete part out of that car we used all the money to build a new car.
We are currently testing and many more pictures of the future build to come...

Thanks, but that car was very rough. it was built in Dave's garage on a young mans budget.
It looked cool but that was about it. it was not safe to be on the street nor the track.
We chose this car because it had such a following so parting out was easy. i think everything was gone in 3 weeks time.
In return Dave got our retired race S2000 in exchange which was a hell of a deal for him.
Regardless, the car lives on and you will only see good things from here.
Props for Mannslayer for making it what it was at the time!

For those who don't know us we are a hardcore road race shop that only builds full race cars.
You will never see a hella flush or wanabe race car come out of our business.
So chances of ever seeing this car at a car show are going to be slim....

So on with more pics....

Fitting our front splitter/ flat bottom.

Our rear sub frame made by our friend RayC

Going from a GC to a GD, I missed my GC more and more each day.

Absolutely cannot wait for my Version4 to show up.

I recommend every Subaru owner to drive a swapped GC and see what they are all about.

The Word "Aerosim" will get you stabbed in this shop
Steve screwed me over big time and still owes me money!!!

Anyways,
Motor is a built 2.5 with cosworth cams Port Flow head package
makes 600 on low boost
E85 fuel

suspension/Wheels
JRZ 2 way RS Pro with external canisters
multiple wheel
Rota ( as you see it) 18x10 275/35/18 RS3's
Nto3 18x10.5 295/35/18 toyo R888

The wide body and hood is from New Zealand from a rally shop I cant remember the name?

Now the car weighs 2,500 ready to go, but as times goes on weight will drop

The car is set up for street class/mod class.

Right now the Aero is very mild as it's only on it's 2nd track day.
Testing again this sunday then off to Super Lap Battle.

We shall see how she does, right now it's still a bit scary it loves to slide
