got a few updates coming real soon but until i can share those here is something different i did today.

sorry for the cellphone shots in advanced.

first i did interior footwell lighting, switch is by the knee pad:

then i added a courtesy light, most higher end cars have them and its so subtle but makes a huge difference. at night i always find myself looking for the heated seat buttons or i can't see whats in the cupholders and i dont want to turn my dome light on...so this is PERFECT in photos its really hard to make it out but its just really soft red lighting that makes it possible to see the center console at night but it isn't distracting at all. i'll let the pictures explain:

test fit LED, make sure tip of LED is inside the hole, and aimed at a slight angle towards the rear:

then mount the LED in place:

i just wired it to my radar, just a power and a ground. thus it will be on when ignition is on...and off when car is off. really simple.

and finished product:

can see at night what it does, but the cellphone can't capture how thin the light spreads...its really barely noticeable but perfect to see interior.

got big updates coming soon so stay tuned.

My MCS & Ridgeline both have the overhead courtesy lights (factory). Makes road tripping at night much easier. Nice install.

I've usually seen those IN the cupholder area. Either way, useful. Must consider something for that area.

I've heard they are redesigned and shouldn't have issues like those bad catches a while back.

I'm jealous of your new toys. Good tip on the overhead light, I may have to do that. Got heaps of red leds laying around.

Love the wheels. The galaxy blue is also really growing on me but I swore I'd never own a darker blue.

Honestly one of the sharpest colors out on this car IMO. I'm still getting the Dark Metallic Gray though. Because reasons.

as stated before, finally got the suspension and wheels on and taken care of. pictures to follow.

big thanks to AZP Installs wouldn't trust anyone else. if you need anything at all, give them a call!

here is the install:

notice the conical washer, its a must to install this correctly with the whiteline Com C's

setting up the front:

setting up the rear, FYI stock 08+ STi rear top hats work perfect. i'm running 2011 top hats in the rear.

with the whiteline top hats we were able to max out the camber at -3.2 in the front. obviously you DO NOT need that much, but its nice to know you can get that much. we left it at -1.8.

and these are the Cusco adjustable rear lower control arms VS stock.

waiting to go on:

buttoning the rear up:

initial alignment, just to set it until it settles. -1.4 camber was set in the rear with slight toe in.

My impressions on the V3's. well i'm in love. car is so planted, there is no roll but the ride is plush on the street. its not jarring like my STi was over bumps, it just eats up the crap jersey roads. it soft but then when you push it, everything is tight, hard and the feel is excellent.

and now for the good stuff.

18x9.5 +40 semi gloss black Rays Gramlights 57xtreme
265/35/18 Bridgestone Potenza RE-11

right now its -2 camber all around, but i think its a bit much, so once it settles some more i'll be taking some rear camber out for sure.

been driving all day and the car is a handling monster now. needless to say on the twisty roads these guys were having a tough time keeping up LOL

to be continued...
