Default Cam timing teeth; VR vs. Hall position

Does anyone know if the cam on the timing teeth between the JDM EJ20 VR setup and the USDM EJ25 Hall setup are "synced" the same? As in, if you were to use a signal converter(similar or the same thing as what standalones use to convert VR signal into a digital signal) would the trigger timing be the same?

What MAF? -Speed Density!

Default

That is a good question, I don't thing anyone has done enough signal processing to know for sure.

Might be a question for some of the manufacturers than make cams for both.
