Unhappy Star Specs @ Tire Rack

Was looking today and noticed 225/45/17 are no longer listed and 235/40/17 are on "closeout". Anybody know what is going on? I planned on getting some Star Specs in the spring...hopefully this only temporary, or do I need to snatch some up asap?

Thanks! Still freakin out a bit as I really like the star specs for their versatility as I DD and auto-x the same tires. I may have step down to the Sport Maxx TT if the ZII is too narrowly focused, too expensive, or wear too fast (need to get 2 seasons out of them).

Skip the Star Specs and check out the Federal 595RS-R

If he's running an SCCA Road Tire class the Federals won't work. 2013 treadwear is going to 180. August Fast track stated immediately, but I seem to remember that is was put out until 2013.

the 235/40-17 Star Spec is discontinued and there is a new version coming out and it should be here in early spring.
