Default Is there a way to tell what year/model this exhaust is to?

Im possibly looking to pick up this exhaust.

http://nh.craigslist.org/pts/3471048610.html

The person selling it doesnt know much about it because he got boned when he bought it. The year seems right but im pretty sure the WRX and STi are different setups from 2008-2010. Is there any identifing marks that will say if this will fit my sti or not?

Or if its for the sedan or hatchback..
THANKS!

If I were you, I'd low ball him. buy it anyway and try it out on your car. The price is right. If it doesn't fit, resell and get your money back.

Sorry I cant be more useful. But I thought you were selling your car...

To me, that looks exactly like the 02-07 exhaust. Maybe the OP doesn't have a downpipe to go with it? Check it out... http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...st&prodid=1495

And here is the 08+ version: http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...st&prodid=3960

I'm not positive...but that's what a quick Google search turned up for me.

99% sure that's an 08+ hatch exhaust.

fart can? *shudder*...

That looks like for older models. The 08-10 WRX had single exit. The 11 had quad tips.
STI went dual (or quad) in 08. Replacing a dual/quad tip to a single would look silly IMHO.

I'd pass and get one that you know will fit.

The 08+ invidia N1 street and race are both single exit. The difference being the resonator that the race doesnt have. This is an N1 race im guessing. I have asked that he send me more close up pics.
