Default Happy Thanksgiving AKIC

Ms. Nomad and I wish you all the best. She'll be in the kitchen doing her thing, I'll be watching football resting up for my turkey coma.

Y'all be careful out there and try to stay out of trouble.

Thankfulness. That is what this holiday is supposed to be about. Simple gratitude.

Not preparation for black friday, early shopping sprees to score more CRAP, or consumption of the ever evolving latest and greatest.

I'm thankful to have opportunities, to have a healthy family, to have a roof over my head in trying times, to have a career instead of just a job, to have endeavors and aspirations that I work diligently towards, to have possessions which keep me content not dreading their monthly payments, to have a circle of true friends who enrich my life, to live in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I am thankful to have the capacity to realize these aspects of life.

I hope that some of you do too.

Believe it or not Marlon, you have more opportunities available to you than I have on the path I've chosen.

Happy and safe Thanksgiving. I am thankful for many things in my life-not the least are the friends and acquaintances I've made on AKIC. May good fortune grant us all many more Holidays, together!
