You don't suck for 100+ years without making it a science.

Cubs. I mean he couldn't hold a 5-1 lead against the A's. And all his wins with the red shoes came against losing teams. I wish it would've worked but...not so much

Haha I remember when the Padres traded for Brian Giles for bay. Knowing the Pad's they might go after bay again

Jays are working on getting Josh Johnsn and Buehrle from the Marlins.

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...-josh-johnson/

If I lives in Miami I would be doing my best to organize a lynch mob to get Lurie removed from ownership, or burn down his precious stadium the taxapayers footed the bill for.

Loria = Marlins owner, ex-Expos owner, screwed two franchises and their fan bases

Lurie = Philadelphia Eagles owner, who may be feeling wrath of his own soon

Of course I did.

Ridiculous what Loria has gotten away with when it comes to those franchises. As happy as I am that there's MLB in DC again after all these years, it feels wrong that there is no MLB in Montreal. When I was a kid I used to sit in my dad's truck (later my own car) at night and try to pick up games on AM radio. Picking up Expos games broadcast in French just seemed exotic at the time, figuring out what a lanceur and a premier-but was and all that.

Well it was worse than expected, they dumped Reyes too, so the three big signings from last year are now gone, class franchise.

I honestly would not hold it against any Miami player to hold out from spring training and try and force a trade, I feel bad for Stanton at this point, his talent is wasting.

I thought this off season was going to be a write off for the Jays when they signed Izturis ... Typical Jays move signing the small fish

Little did I know that Anthopolous was going after a bunch of different fish ... Heh

It's a lot of salary to take on and they gave up some good prospects, but this trade makes the Jays a real threat in the AL East next year ...

This is HUGE

Stanton's tweet was the best:
@Giancarlo818: Alright, I'm pissed off!!! Plain & Simple

He's being wasted on that team ... He's a beast

Hunter to the Tigers. I think it's a good fit.

Seattle’s new $10 million scoreboard will be the biggest in baseball

Quote:
The display will have 1080p by 3840p resolution and 4,147,200 pixels.

It's actually made up of mutiple panels, about nine inches square, that are assembled like tiles. It will have a total viewing area of 11,425 square feet. The Cowboys' 160 by 72 foot display covers 11,520 square feet.

Plastic panels will protect the display from impact, though hittters have yet to reach the scoreboard at Safeco Field.

It's hard enough seeing their scoreboard now at that location, the sun shines directly on it. I wonder if it will be easier to see. And yes, it's sunny a lot here, in fact it pretty much never rains from July to the end of the season.
