Default Late EJ20G fuel cut?

My car is a 99 RS with a late ej20G swap.

I'm getting a fuel cut or hesitation when I'm at WOT in 3rd gear. At first I thought it might just be overboosting because I was in the process of setting my Hallman Pro MBC when i started having these problems. But I turned the boost down to 9psi and I'm still having the problem.

Is this fuel cut? Also, I just went a step colder on my plugs. They are NGKs set to .030, not sure if that could be causing the issue since I'm still on the stock tune.

I've read threads on fuel cut. I don't have an intake, but I do have a cone filter replacing the box since I never had the stock air box for the turbo motor. I also took off the plastic cover for the vent which is right above the cone filter. I am getting a lot of flow from the intake, which could be causing the MAF to freak out.

I'm gonna go back to NGK BR6ES plugs and see what happens in the mean time. Cheers.

Check your ignition coils to make sure they are not cracked. Common issue on the G series motor.

I just bought the motor from a JDM supplier, no stock BCS. They didn't have it.

Find one. As long as it's just plugged in but not controlling anything that SHOULD fix it.

Or if I put the correct resistance in instead?

I tried it and it was fixed for a bit, but went back to having the issue. Further diagnosis is on the thread about 5000 rpm EJ20G power loss.

Any suggestions? Up the resistance? I took out the 22 ohm resistor and it was fine.

Check your injectors. Or fuel pump..sounds like fueling issue.
