Default OTT: New Suby Sepcialist Shop Opened

I'm not sure how many people know of this, so I thought I would post this here as a satisfied customer.

Craig Simms (formerly of Robson Racing) has opened up his own new shop in Ottawa. It's called Pace Autosport, and he is definitely a local Suby modifier extraordinaire.

His location is on Merivale @ Shillington (just south of Kirkwood), and his number is 729-8887.

Today, for $46.50 he fixed that brutal clunking sound in my exhaust which I was worried (and quoted) would cost me $450 to fix! He fixed it in a half hour. If you are ever looking for someone to get creative on your Subaru, he's the man to talk to. He designed and fabricated my 2.5" exhaust, as well as hand-made a lightened flywheel for another local Suby guy.

Craig is another great local option for mods if you don't want to/can't go all the way to Lachute (like me).

Krelkor:

Ottawa is approx. 500 km. from Toronto which is approx. a 5 hour drive. Waterloo is about 90 minutes west of Toronto. So you're looking at a 7 hour trip.

In my experience, Craig's work is much more affordable than any other 'racing' shop in the city. After a great experience with him and his new shop today, I can't help but recommend him to other Suby lovers.

I love my car again! Next week it goes in for a buff/shine/scratch removal at Andre's Auto care. Yeehaw!

Waterloo is 5-5.5 hours away assuming you don't hit Toronto traffic, driving at a reasonable speed (120)

It is not that bad, just avoid during rush hours!

You should check out the Toronto Subaru Club, as they (we) are close to you in Waterloo, there is even a seperate forum for Kitchener-Waterloo
