This was the very first thing that came to mind when I saw these special edition WRX's... I don't think it looks better or worse on either car.

2003 yellow = good
2002 yellow = weak

Hmmm...BRZ in this orange with an S202 style spoiler would make the fake wannabe racer/ricer in me happy.

Wow... I am considering getting one of these, putting a Dixie Flag on the top, an "01" on the side, a rally bar up front with a nice long WHIP antenna and going to all the USA Rallys I can!

Don't forget to pick up Daisy and Cooter. Heck, bring Uncle Jesse along just as long as the trunk is full of moonshine. I'm sure you can outrun Boss Hogg and Cletus in that there STI.

We couldn't get a 2007 STi Limited nor could my dealership get a 2006 LGT Spec B. I have a novel idea. They made 600 of those 2007s; so, how about making 633(whatever the number is now) and give EVERY dealer ONE.

We already had 2 customers call about it.

So basically just an awful paint job, some decals and interior color changed bits?

Clearly we know who their target demographic is..

Looks like a similar color to the Prius C.

Might as well save some money and purchase a WRX/Sti Limited.

Even they have more features than this edition.

How to do orange properly.

A Subaru in this color would be great. This barf orange that they chose instead is a travesty.

They say that most men cannot see color properly, you must be one of them. This is NO WAY the same color subaru chose. It is vibrant and bright, meanwhile the subaru color is dull, brown, bile looking.

You must not have seen Tangerine in person. It is in NO WAY brown or dull. It is definitely much nicer in person that the photos show. I am actually hoping I get to see one of the WRX/STIs in this color. Not saying it was the best choice, but I like it.

DING!! Agreed 10000000000000%. Also, like others have stated, the decals are super tacky. At the very least try to make the car a bit appealing by taking out the orange reflectors out of the headlight housing and offering this same model in hatch form.

You betcha they can. And they will. Subaru Europe and Subaru Japan, if the get special editions, will be much much sweeter than this offering made by SOA.

I blame the photography because Subaru states that this orange is the same as the Crosstrek's Tangerine Orange and I LOVE that orange. It always pops in pics, but not for these cars for some reason.

They say that most men cannot process simple ideas properly when viewing the internet, you must be one of them.

Orange with black decals. My point. Your point? The shade of BRIGHT orange is not close enough from pics under different light sources (like your washed out bimmer pic) to warrant a simple comparison. How many showers do you take a day?

This shows the color better. Not saying i'd buy one in this color but it is definitely not the drab color seen in the PR photos.

We've begged SOA for another yellow for years.. they provide us with the great pumpkin. It's a fine color for the XV.. a granola-mobile. It's neither a Porsche sportscar orange or a metallic classy orange.. it's just granola... like an orange M&M. No thanks.

I guess when you're doing a special edition for your fans the first thought should be: "how can we save money?"

Reflectors are a US DOT mandate. They can't just remove them because buyers think they look bad.

I'm not a big fan of this color but there is a guy in my area with this car and it does look a lot better in person.
