Default Redrilling OEM Wheels

Hey People,

So I was just curious what the cost, pros, and cons are of re drilling wheels from 5x114.3 to the 5x100? I understand that a lot of you have opinions and thats great, but im interested in the people who have done this mod before. I also know that this could compromise the integrity/strength of the wheel. I just want some info.... please

Thanks in advance!!

You're not going to find anyone that's done it because it's not worth the cost and risk. There are so many options out there, including cheap used wheels, that it's just not worth it.

Get a quote from a machine shop and you will probably decide to sell those wheels and get a set that fit properly. Quick google says $60/wheel. And the lugs have to be re-drilled exactly on center or you will have a really f*d up ride. Queue post "why does my car feel like it is galloping."

FWIW, I saw one person that did the opposite (5x114 on 5x100 lug). He was in the process of selling the rims. They didn't look good - oblong holes with some metal rings inserted.
