Unofficial date and times: Sept 27 Saturday

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looking to set up an Impreza meet Sept 27 or Oct 4. Dates aren't official and photographers encouraged to join akfmx and chano. The v4 jdm sti RS I'm working on for a buddy should be done by then hopefully and Williams Impreza conversion should be done by then too. I'll be taking out my OBS. Cars and cruise is something that came up maybe meeting at brobell or Huffman Carrs then driving out to Beluga point. Maybe an hour or two depending on how long ppl want to chat and if ppl want to grab something to eat afterwards that's cool too.

Well the only other gen RS were the 2nd Gen GD 02-05, which weren't really that special compared to 1st Gen because of being less sporty and not even having hood scoops. After that they were just "Impreza 2.5i". I'm pretty sure this is more of a "throwback" thing.

Unhappy Looking for my old car.

Hey fellas (and ladies) you know how sometimes you get rid of a car (life stages and what-not) and then you wish you hadn't. I lived in Fairbanks from '03-'05, and in the summer of '05 I consigned an '01 BRP RS coupe through a dealership in Fairbanks. Twins were on the way, and a GC8 coupe wasn't going to cut it for a family of 5 with 2 car seats. So, just a couple of days ago, I was looking through a stash of old papers, and I find the original registration. I look up the VIN, and find this:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1279808
So the car made it to Anchorage sometime in '07. I'm wondering if anyone from AKIC (or even NASIOC) has it, or any info on whereabouts. Any and all leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

The more Imprezas the merrier...this isn't a closed meet anyone can join just reaching out to the Impreza owners out there tho.

27th of this month is looking like a more favorable date akfmx would be in town by then pending open to join and exercise his mad photo skillz.

So far the count is x3 RS's (x1 v4 sti), x1 OBS, x1 Impreza wrx conversion , x1 05 STI, and anyone wanting to join in.

I believe I've seen a CL post from Wasilla selling this vehicle this summer recently asking $8K. IIRC they did say he was the 3rd owner.
