Default ?grinding?

the passenger side makes a grinding sound similar to when you have a brake pad wore down and it's rubbing on the rotor but it's not when I'm braking. the harder I take the turn to the left the more grinding happens. I think it's coming from the passengers rear wheel but I'm not 100%. Any thoughts? it also doesn't grind when I'm braking it's just left turns. I can take a right turn as hard as I want and it won't make a noise. the car is a 03 bugeye with 96k and stock. Thanks for any imput

Did you do anything to the brakes?

have you taken off the rotors?

Kinda sounds like the problem in this thread.

I had a grinding noise after doing a brake pad change.
Took me half a day and taking the wheel on and off about 3 times to figure it out.

Was the brake dust shield (I had checked it several times). But only found it after running something flat all the way around and realising it was rubbing on the bottom where I couldn't see...

Even if you already have checked your dust shield. Check your dust shield one more time just incase.

Definitely wheel bearing if it gets louder when you're turning

I havent done anything to the brakes or had the wheel off. It only is present when I am turning left. I just bought this wrx maybe 2 months ago at most and it was present at that time so I doubt it's the dust sheild. how much would it be to replace the wheel bearing with labor? or hour many hours of work

Is there a sticky somewhere on checking the dust shield? I keep seeing this coming up re: grinding brakes. I have some minor similar issue.
