06-07 Subaru Impreza 2.5i UEL Header Help

Hi guys. I have a 07 2.5i and I want to get uel headers to achieve the subie rumble. I know i will need a 02-05 cat pipe for the headers. My question is will this set of headers fit a 06-07? it says 97-05 for the years. Are the engines exactly the same for the 05rs and a 07 2.5i? if so, these would work right? I know ill get answers like "this has been covered thousands of times" but about half of the pages are just about telling people that and no one is giving anyone a simple straight answer. Ive been searching for months and nothing. I dont want to spend 500 for just headers.

They should in theory fit your car (depending on actual quality it might take a little prying to get them to fit or there is a chance that no amount of prying will make them fit). If you are set on going the borla rep + 02-05RS cat pipe route, you will also need a 02-05 catback.

If it's a wrx/sti catback you'll also need the flange rotated

I'd say to contact this guy above for a more simple route

yeah they "should" fit but its ebay so youll never know til you actually try to install

Rallisport Uel. Bolts right up no modification necessary. Had it on my 08 2.5i

You won't find anything better than the Rallisport headers.

In the listing it says it will fit EJ25 so you are good to go but of course you will need the catback from an 05.

I'm in the same boat. I want to go for the subie rumble on my NA 2007 2.5i. I would love the rallisport headers, but $500 dollars and up is WAY too much for me. I would be very interested to see how those ebay headers work out for you if you end up purchasing those.

Going the ebay route ends up costing more in the long run. With a lot more bull**** involved, but to each their own. Here's the break down of costs n extra info

500 is probably the cheapest way to get it

these headers will fit, but he has to get a different cat, and a catback exhaust

I had a buddy of mine help me cut up a stock wrx header, weld on a 3 bolt flange, and drill some o2 bung holes and then weld those on. I've had it on for about a month now, no cel's, and the sound is awesome. I have a Dynomax Ultraflo SS on my car and that's it. No modded cat pipes, etc. All said and done, I paid about $300 maybe... $500 for just sound is too rich for my cheap ass! lol

I had the UEL borla replicas on my 07 2.5i. Sounded alright, but not completely like a WRX or STi... I had them on for a year and got rid of them for the stock. You loose a noticable amount of power. Just my .02....
