Default [Fixed]Severe Vibration in 5th under load, any ideas?

Was making a long drive tonight, ~300miles and I start to feel a very severe vibration from my car, for the first 2 hours I had assumed it was just road surface or out of balanced tires. But then I was going up a hill while it was happening and had to let off the gas and it instantly went away. Weird. So then I put it in fourth and went the same speed (~70-75mph) and it didnt do it. Then I put it back in 5th and it was fine for maybe 30 seconds to a minute and went back to such a severe vibration I thought I blew out a tire, again let off the gas and instantly it is gone. This doesnt seem to be a wheel issue to me since it appears to only happen in 5th gear.

Other useful knowledge:
04 wrx 132k miles with original clutch and transmission
kartboy short shifter and bushings
Changed transmission fluid to scottys cocktail roughly 5k miles ago.
Swapped a 16g about 2k miles ago (power is 287whp if this helps)
All other gears feel crisp and smooth
5th gear is easy to get into and out of
I cannot notice or feel and clutch slip

Hopefully someone has an idea, I searched and didn't see anything that I could really relate to otherwise on the forum or google. I chose Drivetrain subsection because its fine at the same speed in 4th which to me negates a tire issue.

Stomp it in 5th... any slip?

Really get on it, get under some boost...

In 5th you are near a 1:1 ratio, so in lower gears it's easier for the motor to spin the trans, in 5th you've got both the ratio and wind resistance fighting you...

I had the same issue with a clutch, would hold for my FINE in 1-2-3... but I'd get to the top of 4th and under boost in 5th and it'd slip...

Thanks, it is at a shop getting aligned and tires balanced right now. Not for this reason, but had it scheduled anyway and told them to give it a drive and see if they would find anything, but the manager believes its something with the transmission, I was hoping a half shaft, but Ill get on it in 5th when I get it back, I had it mildly under load today in fifth and didn't noticed a slip but Ill try giving it some more today and let you all know.

Still not positive what it is, but the manager at the mechanic said his srt-4 did the same thing before the clutch went. Its going to the transmission shop to get looked at , but the transmission mechanic is thinking clutch, too but still thinks thats a weird thing to be doing.
