Checkout http://pahillclimb.net/ I've been racing with them for a while now really good group of folks to race with. Lots of non SCCA classes you can race in too :-)! Something for everything out there on four wheels. I have few vids on my U Tube id biknman of some of the PHA events. One is held in Western Maryland "Polish Hillclimb" closest to you along with two events at Summit Point on Jefferson Circuit.

From: http://biknman.shutterfly.com/8 my correct hillclimb S3 class race car

I am very interested in trying my hand at this, Giants Despair is basically right in my back yard. however I cannot commit to turning my daily into a dedicated track car, and I'm pretty sure my motor and turbo swap puts me in SM, so I am unsure if its worth pursuing with my current car.

PHA is great when it comes to that they have autocross, road race, historic, rally, and special classes (http://pahillclimb.net/drivers/classes/) so you'll find one to fit for sure. Read the website for all the info it's defined as a Level 4 Time Trial event hillclimbing and you will need what's listed on this page to get started: http://pahillclimb.net/drivers/driver-checklist/.

I hillclimb my GC with NEHA. There are a lot of subarus in the bunch. If it is something you wish to try I strongly urge everyone to try it! Check out our website at www.hillclimb.org and www.sccnh.org (the club in the NEHA group that I'm a member of).

I have videos posted on youtube under fightingirishracing as well.

If you're up this way come join us!!!

Or, build it to NASA Rally Sport cage rules and then come rally at RallyWV at Snowshoe! Just a few more bars to put in the cage and a lot more fun!!!

rally entry fees are so damn high
i want a car that can do a bit of any thing well

in the better old days you could take a road racer to a rally or a hill climb ect

why limit your self?

I am getting ready to cage my prepared class GC for timetrials and hillclimbs. A SafeDrives/ S&W cage is the first of many required changes that will be happening.

I think I may enter into a hill climb or two next season. It is something I have always wanted to do. I have been up and down pike's peak and always dreamed of entering that event. Great to know I have events I can actually enter with my current car practically in my back yard! Looks like a great time
