Default Wheel question!

Hey i got a stock 05 wrx wagon, silver, and wanting to put some wheels on it, and im trying to decide what wheel size to go with, im on stock suspension, so im not sure which would look best, 17s or 18s wrapped in all seasons? and then what width would look nice and flush?
If you could toss me your opinions it would be much appreciated! thanks!

What kind of wheels do you like? I prefer a flush look with a ton of sidewall. It seems popular today to go with very little sidewall. Go with what you like

I was thinking about going with some xxr 527s! And thanks for those forum links guys! i just dont want the 18in wheels to look goofy with a wrx on stock suspension, not lowered at all.

these are 17x9 +42 on lowering spring to give you a look at 9s.
and some people just don't like XXRs because their knock offs off knock offs. haha.
there have been some cases where they crack. i copped a pair, though, and they're doing me just fine. i'll be converting them to my winter setup the second i get to upgrade.

good luck! i'd go with 9s (if i was you). but i do regret not going bigger and wider and not doing a little extra work for the look! i think it's worth it

I'd play it safe and go with 17x8". The Enkei RPF1 is a very lightweight and strong wheel, and not that expensive at all. Also, it's a legit company with a long racing history behind them.

this should definitely be something you consider. Good looking wheel, not very heavy, and relatively cheap for whats considered a performance wheel. no modification needed. I might be a little bias because this is what i use on my car. 17x8 +45 with 245/40/17 tires. My car doesnt rub. I doubt yours would but i would get someones input who owns a wagon. mine is a sedan.

So would i have do do any modifications going with 9inch wide tires? and how do you like lowering springs on your car? how does it effect the smoothness of your ride?
