Default 2013 Impreza TPMS ATEQ QuickSet

Does anyone know if the ATEQ QuickSet is compatible/needed for a 2013 Impreza (not WRX or STi)? My sister is buying new winter wheels/tires and wants to know if she should get the tpms sensors. I know they are the same 315MHz sensors, I'm just not sure if the computer works the same way in regards to storing and reprogramming.

I have a QuickSet that I use for my '08 STi, and would use for her too, but I have no way of testing it's compatibility until Thanksgiving, and she needs to order them before then so I can put them on for her.

I know she can take the car to the dealership and have the serial numbers changed every season, but that's not worth the money if all she has to deal with is the tpms light. I'd like her to have functioning sensors, but I don't want her to waste the money getting the sensor put in the tires if she can't use them.

I made a mistake, she has a 2012. According to the ATEQ website, the QuickSet will work with 2012. Knowing that, I assume it will work with 2013, but I can't confirm.

back from the dead confirming ateq quickset works with 2013 impreza na dropping in this info for anyone searching for it in the future.

I have aftermarket sensors in the wheels: TPMS: 315 MHz Tire Pressure Sensor

I was able to retrieve the sensor id for winter tires and then I entered in the summer wheel sensor ids and then updated the cars ecu.
I then retrieved from car's ecu to confirm that the new codes for the summer wheel were in the computer.
The total for the tpms sensors was 144, the tpm quickset was 150, Dealerships sometimes charge 100 or more to do the
switch over.

ateq quickeset version 3.02 Beta 8
Version 3.02 Beta8 - V
quickset firmware: QD1-45
Database version: 20130108
OS: windows 7 64bit

Installed the drivers first, then installed the ateq software.
After software install ran update with tpms device plugged in.
Updated database and device
Choose 2012 subaru impreza even if you have a 2013 as they are the same car
NOTE: WHEN ORDERING FROM TIRERACK HAVE THEM SEND YOU THE SENSOR IDS, YOU HAVE TO TELL THEM THIS WHEN YOU ORDER AND ALSO WHEN THEY CALL TO TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE DEALERSHIP TO INITIALIZE THE NEW SENSORS.

FYI:TPMS provisions were updated end of 2011

Reminds me that I need to schedule some service as I just put on new rims and tires and need the TPMS paired with my car.
