My car was traded in at my dealership(not mine, one I work at) on a Porsche Cayman. The second I caught wind of the deal I knew immediately that I wanted the car, one owner, decent miles, technician owned blah blah. I brought the car home without any warning to family, friends, or girlfriend(she was none to pleased, but tough titties)

Here is the car the night I brought it home, stock aside from factory optional SPT catback exhaust, Pink springs/pink 4-way adjustable struts.

Didnt last too long, changed the tail lights and put a Vlimited replica lip it and of course started autocrossing as soon as I could

Not too long after those pictures my wheel whore bug came back to bite, picked up a set of RP03's that looked awesome, but of course rubbed like a son of a bitch. At the same time I was collecting suspension parts to install:
RCE yellow springs, RCE camber plates V2 lowering, sway bars, rear camber bolts, and some strut bars

Test fit before suspension:

some install pictures

Maxed out the camber to get the tires to clear, all good up front but rubs on hard bumps out back. Did like the wheels, and how cheap 17inch tires were, but they had to go after one quick summer.

Dont have many install pictures from here on out, but I started slowly adding some more parts. Catless down pipe, maddad UEL header, IAG up-pipe with externally dumped Tial 38mm gate etc

Lets not forget this is my daily driver up here in the north east, so from time to time it does see the white stuff. The winter setup consists of swapping the stock BBS's back on with some all season conti DWS, rallyarmor mud flaps, weathertech mats and ususally taking the front lip off:

After that winter I finally came across a set of wheels ive been lusting after since my 3000GT days. Picked up a set of Volk TE37s

Took long enough but finally got around to black out the headlight housings:

And finally took a big leap, went wingless:

It took about 3 days of completely wingless for me to put the limited lip on, wasnt sure of what to do at first.

The car stayed this way for a little while, went through another winter basically unchanged. Always adding some small stuff, slowly. New grimmspeed boost solenoid, new pro-tune etc...

Winter setup came back:

Drying the car like a boss

Then it was nice agian, back to some autocrossing and better wheels and tires! Not much changed for a little while with the car

Moved into an apartment with the girl, everything is great except my complex finds it necessary to run the sprinklers every night(during the warmer months) and absolutely no safe spot on the property. Only one solution, expensive California car cover(and adjust all close sprinkler heads.

Haha, yea I always get strange looks. Its the best way though, less time on the car with a towel. Ill never go back to just drying the car "normally". I appreciate the kind words
