05 STI Tuning Problems ECUFLASH

Im having troubles with EcuFlash reading my current rom. I can use Romraider and log fine, however EcuFlash Is not connecting to the car correctly. I keep getting error codes

Try running an older version of the software, OR, try reading your Rom off the ecm, then writing it directly back in. See if its a Rom code error.

are you using a tactrix? if so did you install the tactrix J drivers listed on the site? install those first, then ecuflash, when prompted for openport install during ecuflash install, click cancel.

Anyone got any pointers? I've replaced the previous ECM due to it being bricked by the previous owner. Everything else connects besides ECUFLASH

i am having the same issue. I can datalog the ECU but cannot read it. To makes things worse, my car will no longer start. Im guessing i have an ECUTek Locked ECU

ive got the same problem with my new-to-me 02 wrx. im trying to read the ecu, and then force readiness to pass my inspecting that is due... but i cant even get ECUflash to work.

what is your voltage? what model tactrix cable? had the same issue, and it turned out to be a combination of voltage being out of range because my battery is oversized and a 1.3 tactrix
