Hey guys, For those of you who aren’t familiar with Lamin-X, it’s an American-made line of taillight, headlight and foglight protective film. It’s a great way to protect your lights, but also really polishes off the look of the vehicle with a glossy finish or colored tint.

I tried installing the yellow headlight tint today on my 2011 WRB WRX and it was dam near impossible to get them on right. With such an obnoxious color it has to fit pretty much perfectly and I couldn't get it right. I also couldn't get all the air bubbles out. The product itself was nice and very high quality but for the precuts I wouldn't try to install them myself again. I highly recommend having a professional install these. If I was to try and install these again I would buy the universal kit and cut them out myself.

You must have been doing something wrong. They went on easy for me.

Sorry to hear this. These can be a bit difficult to install if its your first time putting laminx on, but not overly difficult if you take your time. as for the bubbles, its normal to have some there after install it takes about a week or two for them to cure (says that in the instructions too) and if after that there are any left, you can use a pin to poke a small hole in the bubble and that will get rid of the remaining ones.

I purchased yellow tint for my '11 WRX. I had a professional install them. However, there is a defect on one side and the tint does not go all the way to the edge. I worked with Alex, Lamin-X, and my installer to rectify the issue. Everyone was awesome and very helpful in wanting to make this right. I will be getting the tint re-installed on March 2nd. I will snap pics after. Thanks Alex for stepping in and helping with this matter. I highly recommend Auto City Imports!
