Your gonna have to install the cam with the current buckets to check the clearance you need to choose the right bucket for your car. I recently did a valve adjustment on my 06 STI, i dont know the spec for you 05 but just as a reference the valve clearance on mine is and the formula to figure out your shim is included. My advice get the service manual because you will need it.
Intake: 0.200.02 mm (0.00790.0008 in)
Exhaust: 0.350.02 mm (0.01380.0008 in)
Intake S = (V + T) - .20
Exhaust S = (V + T) - .35

btw .20 and .35 are in mm.

You'll need a set of feeler gauges and a set of good micrometers, but yes, you can put in any of your current buckets that are thin enough to give a decent measurement with the feeler gauge.

The number on the caps are part numbers, however being that they are used you still need to measure them to confirm the actual clearance. for example,
Part No 13228 AB462 is 5.04mm (0.1984 inches)

This is very important, and is why you need a good micrometer. The buckets will thin out over time, you need to use the ACTUAL thickness of the bucket you use to do your measuring, not the specified thickness from the part number. They WILL be different.
