Martel, I actualy talked with the dude that you saw in the silver WRX sedan in Chapel Hill. We met up at a light on 64 in Cary. I guess his girlfriend lives down here and he's visiting. He's from Virginia (VA plate OOWRXOO) but he's looking for a job down here.

btw, he has a scoobysport exhaust and rota wheels, and some kind of blow off valve.

Later,
Jim

Jim,

Was that the guy we saw before we left for the track? I noticed the VA plates on the silver wrx pulling out of the gas station on laura duncan rd.

Jim,

I am the guy you saw last night on 64. My gf and I were on our way to Outback for a little grubbage. I was friggin starving. We had just got done wakeboarding on Jordan lake. Anyway, I've gotten a pretty good job lead from a buddy of mine and I am reworking my resume this weekend. Otherwise I have been and will continue to come down to this area every other weekend.

btw - my BOV is a Blitz SS, the Scooby Sport is turbo back (TXS stage2). I have several other mods as well. I do all the work on my car and plan on other upgrades real soon (Kartboy ALCs and center guagepod with 3 guages, EGT, A/F, Oil Temp).

Peace,

Billy

Blake,

You too may have seen me before. I am not sure though. My gf's brother lives in Apex and my gf lives in Holly Springs so I pass through Apex all the time. What track did you guys go to? I noticed the shoe polished #s on Jims car. AutoX? Drag?

I went to an 1/8th mi drag event on Friday to see if my times have improved since my last upgrades. I ran really crappy that night (8.9). I think it was a phsycological issue and the fact that I was trying different launch methods.

L8r,

Billy

Natural Bridge raceway. It seems like a really slow strip. I do know that it's way up in the elevation, but they do test and tune on friday nights so I go just to see if my mods make much improvement.

I know what you mean by all the v8's, but you know, I simply love handing all those v8's their asses at the strip. So far there has only been 1 v8 to better my time at the strip and he had slicks. Not exactly a street legal match up. I know that some of the v8's can better me in a 1/4 mile, but the WRX owns in the 1/8th. I had considered changing my plate to V8EATER, but I think it would get too much domestic attention, so I decided to change my plate to QWIKRNU

Billy,

Very nice to meet you the other night! The numbers on the back were from Kinston dragway (full 1/4 mile.) Don't feel too bad about your times, I was only running 8.8's in the 1/8th. I think some of my co-workers have seen you around because they are always telling me about "a silver wrx with an exhaust, painted side skirts and aftermarket wheels."

What kind of job field are you in? If you are in any kind of sales I might be able to help you find a job down here

btw Blake, that was not Billy we saw. The guy we saw Thursday had blonde hair and was in his late 20's early 30's.

Jim,

I am in the computer field. I am currently a Systems Engineer. I setup and administer computer networks (routers, firewalls, switches, servers, workstations). I am MCSE so I deal mainly with Windows 2000 server environments.

Hey I saw a silver WRX sitting in an Apex firehouse parking lot on 751 on my way back to VA this afternoon. Does it belong to any of you?

I got 17's. They didn't fill in the front as well as I had hoped, but the WRX has such deep arches in the front and I didn't want to go with 18s for weight and $$$ reasons.

The tires are Falken Ziex and I ordered them with the tires from Mach III:

So, Is anyone here with a Silver Scooby the one I saw last week driving the opposite Direction down walnut Str in Cary?

I was in a white WRX with STI Fog covers sitting at the light. Other person was in a silver WRX driving by.

Didn't get a good enough look to make out any details of the silver WRX other than a set of aftermarket wheels.

Ricter,

Was it during the week or weekend? I have been in and around that area for the past 2 weekends, but I live in VA for now and stay there during the week.

If you mean apex station #2 on new hill olive chaple rd (turns into 751 once you cross hwy 64) then that was my friend I work with. Normally you would see my Black WRX parked right beside his but I'm driving the truck until I get the new intercooler and turbo. I park the truck out back because its ugly and I don't want anyone seeing it! Next time stop by and say hi if we are in the station. If you don't see the big red truck in the first bay then we are either on a call or in town at lunch/running erands. See ya.

well, you might not see us seeing how we work on a shift schedule. There are three diffrent shift and we don't work on weekends so if it's during the week you have a 1/3 chance on seeing us. We both work on the same shift so if you don't see us parked out front, we probally not here. See ya.
