Default STC AutoX Wheel (7.5" max width)

I am looking for a set of lightweight (less than 17 lbs) autoX wheels for my STC built 2000 impreza RS. They cannot be wider than 7.5".

Now, for the tricky part, I have an AP Racing brake kit on the front. From the measurements that I have taken, I found out that any wheel that fits over STi Brembos with a 5mm spacer, will fit over my brakes.

So, with that being said, the easiest thing to do would be to just order from tire rack, cause I need tires too. I like the RPF1 in 17x7.5 +48. Anyone know if they will clear Brembos with a 5mm spacer? If not, do you know anything else that does?

Oh, I know that 2004 Sti wheels will fit, but I am looking for something different.

Thanks cowboy_Rob, I will check those out.

Uncle Scotty, if you don't know, that doesn't help. My reasons that I keep the brakes are because it is the car that my girlfriend tracks and she auto crosses it, cause it is actually her car. Also, the brakes save 10 lbs per front corner. 20 lbs of unsprung weight is huge! Steering actually feels much, much lighter!

It is this kit, and yes, it does fit on our cars. You just have to ask for a trailing caliper and not the leading caliper that it comes with, that way the caliper has the bleed screw on top.

If someone has wheels that might work and wants to check, they need this much clearance. Thanks

Anyone have any other suggestions. Kosei's are a definite no.

I know the old SSR GT-7 fit, but good luck finding a used set.

There just isn't much available anymore that is 17x7.5" and fits over the Brembos. I have the same issue with AStock.

The boring old OEM BBS wheels are one of the best for performance. I have 2 sets of the BBS and 5 of the SSR wheels. (I bought a spare when tirerack had 3 left on close out.)
